Cottages, villas, apartments in Europe
Direct rental from owners
To book a cottage you should:
- Contact a cottage owner
If you speak English you can directly e-mail owner (e-mail address can be found on his cottage page), otherwise you may use our service ‘Send an inquiry’ and we will translate all the correspondence. Thus you will receive both original messages and translated ones. - Discuss the terms of payment
If you make an advanced booking, owners usually require 20% prepayment. However it all depends on what practices they follow. In the case of advanced booking payment is made by bank transfer. If you book your trip for several days prior the arrival date, the owner may agree to receive the payment in cash on the spot. - Receive an invitation
Cottage owner sends you an invitation or a voucher after the bank transfer is made to confirm your reservation. These documents are formal confirmation of reservation and they may be required to be shown by customs officer when passing a boarder. You can also use these documents to obtain a visa.
